EVO Payments Intl., a payment service provider operating in the United States, Canada and Europe, has announced an agreement with e-payments security tech provider MagTek that will incorporate MagTek products and services into existing EVO payment security offerings.
According to a news release from EVO, MagTek security solutions and hardware will help to protect all types of payment transactions for EVO partners and merchants.
MagTek combines its MagneSafe Security Architecture with Magensa, its fraud prevention, detection and advisory service, which includes decryption, tokenization, device and card authentication services, and the global MagnePrint Exchange.
This multilayered solution protects and authenticates sensitive card data during online identification and payment transactions, the news release said.
"[I]t is crucial for EVO to form partnerships with providers who can help ensure the security of all EVO partners and merchants," said EVO president Jeff Rosenblatt. "MagTek is an ideal partner for EVO given their ability to create products that read and transmit payment information securely and reliably."
