Discover OKs Acquirer Systems as supplier of D-PAS certification test cards

Dublin-based Acquirer Systems, a provider of enterprise test and validation solutions, has been qualified by Discover Financial Services to supply D-payment application specification EMV certification test cards for Discover Network and Diners Club International acquirer testing.

The D-PAS test cards are used to confirm terminal compliance during the D-PAS testing and certification process. The certification cards are based on the latest D-PAS 2.2 card image specification.

"Our Discover-certified test card package means U.S. retailers can quickly confirm whether their POS terminal infrastructure is ready to accept and transact using Discover D-PAS enabled chip cards," said Ed Mastrangelo, head of U.S. operations at Acquirer Systems. 

Discover operates the Discover Network, as well as the PULSE ATM and debit networks, and Diners Club International.
