Diebold Inc. today announced its new Opteva Flex Performance Series with the introduction of the 828 and 868 ATM models. The Flex Performance Series offers several self-service functionalities, including cash and check deposit acceptance, cash dispensing and full recycling.
The Opteva 828 is a lobby ATM, and the 868 is a through-the-wall ATM.
"By helping to migrate transactions to the self-service channel, the Flex Performance Series will help financial institutions evolve their branches into a selling environment," said John M. Deignan, vice president and chief marketing officer, Diebold.
The machines have a higher cash storage capacity and provide note-handling, including validation of both in and outgoing notes, counterfeit note detection and note-fitness checking, cash sorting and denominating.
The recycling-ready deposit automation module can be configured in deposit-only, cash-in and cash-out or full-recycling modes. The cash dispensing capacity and note denomination support can be extended with an optional four-cassette cash dispenser.
