Recently, Moscow-based Alfa-Bank acquired assets of Master Bank, a mid-sized Moscow bank, including its ATMs. Now the FI is in the process of incorporating many of the newly acquired units into its multivendor fleet.
Diebold Inc. will help Alfa-Bank manage the influx of ATMs with the delivery of software and services, the company announced in a news release.
Diebold will integrate its multivendor, multichannel Agilis ATM software platform into Alfa-Bank's network as the foundation for an integrated suite of business-oriented products, tools and ATM services.
"We needed a powerful software solution that would make it possible to speed up the work of our growing network as soon as possible, to integrate and launch a new fleet of ATMs to provide the convenience of continuous self-service banking to our customers," said Maksim Dareshin, head of self-service systems development for Alfa-Bank.
Through its Russian team, Diebold also will deliver first- and second-line maintenance services for a minimum of 800 Diebold ATMs in the Alfa-Bank network.
Alfa-Bank serves 9.6 million private customers and operates 552 branches and offices in Russia and abroad.
