Diebold names new CFO

Richardson, 51, is leaving his positions as executive vice president of corporate strategy and chief financial officer of Modine Manufacturing Co. based in Racine, Wisc. Modine is a $1.4 billion specialty heating and air conditioning manufacturer with 32 facilities in 15 countries.
Richardson replaces Kevin Krakora, who stepped down as Diebold's CFO in March, after a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission investigation into possible violations of federal securities laws. Krakora still works at Diebold in a nonfinancial reporting capacity.
Richardson, a Dayton native, earned his bachelor's degree in economics and finance from Miami University of Ohio, his MBA in accounting and finance from Indiana University, and a CPA certificate in Illinois. Before joining Modine in May 2003, he spent more than 20 years with BP Amoco in several senior financial and operational roles.
