General Bytes Services, a Czech Republic-based bitcoin ATM manufacturer and network operator in its home country and neighboring Slovak Republic, has deployed 10 new crypto ATMs across the Prague metro transit system.
A map at the company's website shows the new metro bitcoin ATM locations. Clicking on any of the locations shown on the map brings up information that includes available hours for the machines and types of cryptocurrencies and transactions supported.
The company website also recommends that users download a mobile wallet to hold their currency before visiting the machines, in case of connectivity issues at the metro station shops where the machines are installed.
In April, General Bytes announced that it had passed the milestone of 1,500 bitcoin ATMs sold, making it the world's second largest bitcoin ATM manufacturer.
The company's website gives a current total of 1,621 units sold, supporting 121 currencies in 41 countries, with 1.5 million transactions completed.
