Cummins Allison helps New York FCU grow with self-service technology

January 9, 2019

Cummins Allison, a provider of ATMs and coin, currency and check-processing technology, has teamed with Ogdensburg, New York-based St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union to add deposit functionality and Money Machine 2 self-service coin machines at the FI’s branches.

According to a press release, the project is part of a branch transformation journey by the FCU that included the expansion and upgrade of its infrastructure and services.

The Cummins Allison technologies have helped St. Lawrence to differentiate its offerings and increase member visits, providing an opportunity for branch personnel to discuss value-added services with members, the release said.

"With the installation of a new branch and new products and services, we've seen significant growth, topping 250 members last year," Tim Felt, chief operations officer for St. Lawrence, said in the release. "We expect to top that again this year."

"We are pleased to assist in St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union's branch transformation strategy," said Bob Gibson, vice president, branch operations, Cummins Allison. "The credit union has made great strides in providing its members with new options to conduct their banking needs and new services to make their time in the branch more valuable."
