Credit Union 24 sets monthly, annual records

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Credit Union 24, the credit union-owned point-of-sale network, set new growth and performance benchmarks in 2006, signing 23 new credit unions and approaching 200 million transactions.
According to a news release, CU24 set a new transaction record in December, hitting more than 19.3 million transactions - a near 10-percent increase from the previous monthly milestone set in December 2005.
"We've exceeded our expectations in nearly all our performance measures," said Credit Union 24 president and chief executive James Park. "The network is growing; we're adding members and we're building value for our credit unions.
