Collis adds French Carte Bancaire card validation to Collis EMV PVT

LEIDEN, Netherlands — Collis has announced its implementation of the French domestic debit scheme, Carte Bancaire, module to the Collis EMV Personalisation Validation Tool.

According to a news release, the new CB Module in the Collis EMV PVT covers the Groupement des Cartes Bancaires card-personalization specification. Contactless CB cards will be supported in the near future.

The Collis EMV Personalization Validation Tool (Collis EMV PVT) is designed to check whether cards are personalized correctly. Financial institutions are able to check the consistency between magnetic stripe data, contact chip data, contactless chip data and embossing data. The Collis EMV PVT has an easy-to-use user interface and is customizable. It also can be used during development and production to help ensure correctly personalized and interoperable cards.
