Co-Op offers ATM signage, content software
October 6, 2008
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. —Co-Op Financial Services is offering its first subsidized ATM signage program as way for members to easily promote their participation in the Co-Op Network.
"Given that over 70 percent of network ATM volume occurs at credit union-owned ATM locations, helping members find the thousands of Co-Op Network surcharge-free ATMs nationwide boldly illustrates that credit unions have more ATMs than any bank," said Stan Hollen, president and chief executive of Co-Op Financial Services, operator of the Co-Op Network.
According to a news release, the new ATM signage, offered as a backlit display and/or banner with stand for drive-up terminals, will retain the credit union's own branding. Co-Op will subsidize signage placed with the Co-Op logo up to $400 per terminal.
Co-Op says it also is preparing for the debut of the next iteration of its content-management software, ATMContent Manager, developed by third-party software provider TEKchand Inc. ATMContent Manager, which is expected to be unveiled next month, is compatible with all new and older NCR and Diebold ATMs. In addition to the existing customized ATM screen graphics supported by ATMContent Manager, credit unions with older ATM fleets can configure their ATM screens with customized text.
ATMContent Manager is a Web-based tool for credit unions seeking to remotely create, manage and deliver ATM messages on demand.
