Check imaging hits India via ATMs from Diebold and NCR

The Economic Times reports that imaging ATMs are hitting New Delhi, India, thanks to the efforts of Diebold Inc. and NCR Corp. State Bank of India, the country's largest lender, IDBI and ING Vysya are just a few of the banks that have expressed interest in the imaging ATMs. Banking regulator RBI supports the new ATM venture, saying it will be "good for customers."
India has more than 48,000 ATMs, which comprise a mix of machines from NCR , Diebold and Wincor Nixdorf AG.
