CDS adds DCC terminal support for Hantle ATMs
ATMs on the CDS network can be upgraded for direct currency conversion without the need for additional hardware, the company said.

Dallas-based payment processor Columbus Data Services has announced the successful production implementation of DCC transactions on ATMs from Hantle Inc.
According to a press release, CDS now supports DCC transactions on equipment brands that include Diebold; Genmega; Hantle; Nautilus Hyosung; NCR; and Tranax.
CDS expects to add Triton to the list of DCC-supported brands within the next month, the release said.
"This additional support makes CDS one of the only processors in the U.S.AT that supports this many models without requiring you to purchase any additional hardware," said CDS Senior VP of Business Development John Willmon. "CDS' DCC implementation is fully integrated into our platform and does not require a costly split-dial implementation. Every ATM brought live should include DCC support."
MasterCard recently announced an increase of 40 basis points in cross-border fees. DCC can help to offset these additional fees without added cost, CDS said.
