Cayan Genius gains wins card certification with Worldpay

Aug. 17, 2017

Payments technology company Cayan has achieved chip card certification with Worldpay US, a provider of payments processing technology and solutions. Cayan's new certification marks the latest in a series of EMV certifications, including Chase, Vantiv, First Data and Elavon, solidifying Cayan's processor agnostic approach, the company said in a press release.

The cloud-based Cayan Genius platform now offers greater choice in payment processors and Worldpay customers can access the Genius platform. Genius allows users to accept all forms of payment, including mobile wallets; with the company's ChipIQ technology, chip card transactions are processed in just 4 seconds, the release said

"No business wants to disrupt their operations to switch payment processors. Our approach gives merchants the freedom to keep their current processor or to switch at any time to best meet the needs of their business," Cayan CRO Ken Paull said in the release. "By continuing to achieve certifications with all the leading industry processors, Cayan becomes the best choice for our partners and customers."
