Cardtronics signs ATM branding agreement with HSBC Bank

HOUSTON - Cardtronics Inc. and HSBC Bank USA closed a deal that brands HSBC on up to 59 ATMs in Walgreens locations in Northern New Jersey.

According to a news release, the installations are expected to be completed by early June. The HSBC-branded ATMs are surcharge-free to the bank's customers.

HSBC Bank USA has nearly 400 branches in New York state and began its New Jersey expansion in June 2005. The bank also has branches in Florida, California, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C, Delaware, Oregon and Washington state.

"Our goal is to provide our financial institution partners the opportunity to brand the over 10,000 national merchant locations worldwide that Cardtronics possesses," said Keith Myers, Cardtronics' executive vice president of financial services.
