Cardstream, Mastercard partner on digital payment options in UK

Cardstream, the largest independent provider of white label payment software in the U.K., has entered a partnership with Mastercard to provide digital payment technologies to its card network.

The Mastercard Secure Remote Commerce-ready Masterpass V7 wallet and Pay By Bank app will be made available via API connections to Cardstream's customer base of payment service providers, in addition to independent software vendors and sales organizations, according to a press release.

Masterpass V7 adds the EMVCo SRC framework to the the Mastercard digital wallet. The framework, backed by various card schemes, is designed to replace a number of payment options in the U.K. and provide a single uniform checkout experience, according to the release.
