Caprio to lead Wincor Nixdorf's U.S. business development

AUSTIN, Texas - ATM marketing veteran Saul Caprio has been tapped as Wincor Nixdorf Banking Solution's new business development director, according to a company release.

Caprio will direct U.S. development of non-bank and off-premises market activities as the company continues its expansion. Caprio formerly was a senior manager at E*TRADE Access and its predecessor, Card Capture Services, providers of the CCSExpress ATM. E*TRADE grew from an installed base of 2,200 ATMs to more than 9,000 while Caprio was marketing director, according to the release.

Caprio also will support Wincor's worldwide operations as needed, said Scott Hackl, vice president. Wincor Nixdorf operates in 40 countries and has North American headquarters in Austin, Texas, and Boston.
