Cummins Allison has added new capabilities to its JetScan iFX i400 multi-pocket currency scanner and sorter that allow configurations ranging from three to 17 pockets. The device allows an operator to separate mixed denominations, as well as face and orient bills.
At the rate of up to 1,000 mixed-denomination bills per minute, the iFX i400 can sort for fitness, checking for soil, holes, dog-ears, tears, missing parts and tape. The machine also features advanced counterfeit detection technology, the company said in a news release.
The enhanced scanner-sorter allows greater flexibility to the user, said Cummins Allison EVP for domestic operations Frank Janezic.
“Organizations that use multipocket sorters want and need to have a system that’s configurable and fits their needs while still fitting in the smallest footprint possible,” he said.
