Burroughs adds imaging software to ATM sales, services

Burroughs Inc., a provider of payment systems-related technologies, has announced a new distribution deal with Jaguar Software Development Inc. Under the agreement, Burroughs will add the Jaguar MirrorImage suite of digital check imaging modules to its catalog of ATM products and services.

Larry McCarter, senior vice president of customer services at Burroughs, said the Jaguar software suite would enhance the company's ability to add value for its deposit-automation ATM customers.

"This product allows our customers to enable their ATMs to mirror a teller line transaction, real time, for cash and envelope-free check deposits," he said.

Richard Leirer, vice president of sales and marketing at Jaguar, said the software developer is "very excited to be working with one of the leading providers in the financial industry, and looks forward to working with Burroughs to provide customers with a state-of-the-art ATM deposit automation solution."
