Berlin bank turns self-service operations over to Wincor

PADERBORN, Germany - Wincor Nixdorf International will assume the role of general contractor for the operation of the self-service systems at Sparda-Bank Berlin, according to a news release. The bank and Wincor have signed an outsourcing contract for an initial term of two years.

The agreement includes the monitoring of the self-service systems, restoration of service in the event of disruptions, cash replenishment, cash optimization, and branch service. The bank's network includes approximately 400 machines, from a variety of manufacturers, that are operated and maintained in 76 branches in eastern Germany.
