BB&T awards ATM armored cash service to Pendum

DENVER — Pendum LLC, the nation's largest independent provider of ATM maintenance and armored services which last month was sold to Miami-based Bayside Capital, says it has signed a deal with BB&T Corp. to provide cash-replenishment services for all BB&T mobile and portable ATMs.

BB&T provides mobile and portable ATM service at special events, such as state/county fairs, golf tournaments, auto races, festivals and conventions. Pendum has provided armored transport and maintenance services for BB&T since 1997.

Terms of the contract were not released.
