Banks given week to replace ATM cards

Asia Daily News:The Qatar Central Bank has given all banks in the country a week to replace their existing magnetic-stripe cards with EMV or chip cards. Qatar has an estimated 1.2 million ATM cards. The QCB move follows recent reports about ATM cardholders being hacked, which has resulted in account losses.
