The Kansas City Current and Bank of America have renewed a multiyear partnership aimed at expanding youth soccer access and deepening community engagement across the Kansas City region, according to a press release.
Bank of America, which has 33 financial centers in the Kansas City metro, has partnered with the National Women's Soccer League club since 2023. The bank will remain an official partner of the Current and continue supporting its global "Sports with Us" platform.
As part of the renewal, the Current will collaborate with Bank of America on community initiatives, including youth soccer clinics and equipment donation drives. The bank has previously served as presenting sponsor of KC Current youth clinics, including an event last summer at the 9th & Van Brunt Athletic Fields.
"Renewing our partnership with a world-class, globally known brand like Bank of America represents a significant milestone for our organization," Missy Jenkins, senior vice president of commercial for the Current, said in the release.
The partnership also will expand "Soccer With Us" clinics, which provide free soccer programming in underserved communities.
Bank of America is the official bank of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, supporting 106 matches across North America.
