Bank of America released a film called "Street of Dreams" following a homeless girl who is determined to fulfill her dream of playing soccer. The film features Bank of America's Sports with US Global Ambassador Sir David Beckham and the U2 song Street of Dreams, according to a press release.
The film stars actress Nevaeh Derricks who plays a girl named Calle. Sir. David Beckham plays the role of Calle's inner voice. This film is part of Bank of America's Soccer with Us platform that aims to provide life skills and Soccer at Schools for more than 1,000,000 youth. It is also works together with Street Child United's #IAmSomebodyTour.
"By supporting Street Child United and shining a light on its mission, we're helping more young people be seen, heard and given the opportunity to build brighter futures. Sport has the power to create confidence, connection and possibility, but every young person also needs someone who believes in them. I'm proud that Bank of America is using the platform of the FIFA World Cup 2026 to help amplify Street Child's work and invest in programs that empower young people around the world to realize what's possible," Beckham said in the release.
The film was directed by Radha Ganti and Robert Lopuski.
