Bank of America announced that proposals are open for its 2027 Art Conservation Project. This project is designed to fund museums, cultural institutions and other organizations to preserve artwork and artifacts, according to a press release.
Organizations can apply directly at the Bank of America Art Conservation Project website. This project has been ongoing since 2010 and has helped conserve more than 15,000 objects.
"Art has a unique ability to connect people across cultures, generations and geographies," Brian Siegel, global arts, culture and heritage executive at Bank of America, said in the release. "By supporting the conservation of important works of art, we help preserve our shared cultural heritage and ensure these stories continue to inspire and inform communities around the world."
Nominations close on Sept. 30.
