According to the Belfast Telegraph, UK independent ATM operator Bank Machine has deployed another ?5-only cash dispenser at the Mace shop in Glengormley in Northern Ireland, with plans to continue deploying more of the machines throughout the country.
The machine is surcharge-free and allows withdrawals up to a maximum of £50.
The installations of the ATMs are in response to consumer demands for smaller denomination note withdrawal, according to the article.
More than 300 ATMs have been deployed across the country so far.
Bank Machine is the only operator to provide £5 note-only cash machines, having installed the world’s first in London in 2008.
