Bangor Savings Bank renews ATM, debit program with NYCE

SECAUCUS, N.J. — NYCE and Bangor Savings Bank of Bangor, Maine, have renewed Bangor's NYCE Network participation.
 
According to a news release, NYCE has been the bank's exclusive provider of both PIN debit and ATM card access since 2003. The bank has been a NYCE client since 1994.
 
NYCE Payments Network LLC is a Metavante company.
 
Bangor Savings Bank, with assets of more than $2.2 billion, contributes more than 70,000 cards and 63 ATMs to the NYCE Network.
 
"Renewing our relationship with NYCE made sense for our customers and economic sense for us," said James Doughty, senior vice president and director of marketing for Bangor Savings Bank. "The savings and revenue opportunities that we've received as a result of our exclusive participation in the NYCE Network have enabled Bangor Savings Bank to invest more in other programs that help us continue to exceed our customers' expectations."
 
Metavante also provides Bangor Savings Bank with trust-account processing and risk and compliance solutions.
