ATMIA accepting speaker proposals for 2016 conference

The ATM Industry Association has selected the theme, "Connecting consumers and their money to the ATM," for the Feb. 23–25 event in New Orleans.

June 24, 2015

The ATM Industry Association has sent out a call for speakers for its 2016 annual conference to be held Feb. 23–25 at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside hotel. The theme for the 17th annual event is "Connecting consumers and their money to the ATM."

Any topic related to emerging solutions that connect consumers to multiple forms of money through the ATM is of interest, the association said in its announcement. A few examples include omnichannel-multichannel strategies, new payment networks, next-gen hardware, digital currency, and cardless form factors.

Topics should be of interest to ATM industry professionals, offering case studies, insights on industry developments, and information related to business management and operations.

The conference will present 25 40-minute sessions — seven general sessions and 18 breakouts, with tracks to include:

  • technology and innovation;
  • regulations and compliance;
  • security and risk management;
  • payments and deposits; and
  • business management and education.

Speaker proposals should be submitted using the provided form, and should include a brief summary of the presentation and its working title, the relevant track, speaker name(s) and title(s), and company. Proposals will be accepted until July 15.

All proposals will be reviewed by a speaker committee, which will work with ATMIA staff to select the most interesting and appropriate content for the conference, the announcement said.

Potential speakers should be aware that the ATMIA cannot reimburse or pay for a speaker’s travel or accommodations, however, all speakers will receive a complimentary pass to the conference.
