ATM raids are growing problem in Africa

iafrica.com: Absa Group Ltd. on Tuesday raised concerns about the increase in ATM explosions. "We take this matter very seriously as it is not only damage to property, but also a danger to our customers," said Pravesh Mahadeo, Absa's general manager of self service. Criminals have blown up a "handful" of Absa ATMs in the last month.
