ATM emulation speeds testing for software app developer

Software Group, a Bulgarian provider of end-to-end software solutions and services for FIs, is using two solutions from Paragon Application Systems that allow the company to configure and test ATM management products across a fleet of ATMs — without actually having a fleet of ATMs.

The group recently licensed ATMulator Plus and FASTest from Paragon, programs that it is now using to enhance the ongoing development and testing of its UnderTree Route switch system.

The two products allow Software Group to create unlimited virtual ATMs to use for device, function and regression testing. They can also develop and test customized ATM configuration files with the Paragon solutions.

"The main advantage of the Paragon software is the ability to conduct virtual testing without requiring physical ATMs,"said Software Group CEO Kalin Radev."We also can schedule tests to run unattended which increases our efficiency."
