Asia Pay to buy Global Uplink Communications

HONG KONG - Asia Payment Systems Inc. has signed an agreement to acquire Guangzhou, China-based Global Uplink Communications Ltd.

According to a news release, the agreement is expected to be finalized in the fourth quarter of 2006.

Global Uplink, established in 2001, will give Asia Pay additional operations in business-processes outsourcing, loyalty programs, customer-relations management and consumer services.
