February 8, 2016

Arca, a provider of cash automation technology, has acquired Traidis, a privately held cash and coin processing system manufacturer. The transaction expands not only Arca's product portfolio, but also its patent holdings, a press release said.

Located just outside of Paris in Rueil-Malmaison, France, Traidis has manufactured complete cash and coin processing systems since 1999.

The company's hardware and software solutions are used to automate and increase efficiencies in back office cash rooms for some of France's largest retail businesses, the release said

"The acquisition of Traidis immediately helps Arca create new market opportunities in France and also adds innovative cash and coin management solutions to our global product portfolio," said Arca Founder and CEO Mort O'Sullivan. "This is a strategic acquisition that will prove beneficial to all parties, strengthening Arca's offerings around the world."

France is one of Europe's leaders in the adoption of automation technology, the release said.
