Diebold Inc. will perform all the updates, with include the provision of availability management, software deployment and maintenance services for Apple’s fleet. Diebold will also convert the majority of the FCU’s terminals to deposit automation-enabled Opteva ATMs and add new encrypting PIN pas and EMV card readers.

“Diebold’s services will help us better meet strict compliance regulations with minimal internal oversight, freeing up our staff to spend more time serving our members,” said Larry Kelly, president and CEO of Apple FCU. “At the same time, we’re delivering greater convenience to our members by expanding our fleet’s deposit automation capabilities.”
