Authorities have arrested nine individuals for allegedly participating in a Dutch criminal group that targeted ATMs in Germany and Switzerland. The group allegedly carried out bombing attacks against the ATMs, according to a report by Eurojust.
The Dutch, German and Swiss authorities worked together to investigate this group, which was allegedly behind 10 ATM bombings. In these incidents, the group allegedly used a mixture with aluminium powder to break open ATMs.
In the investigation, 15 locations were raided, and authorities discovered cash, cocaine, vehicles and explosive materials.
