Authorities arrested four men for allegedly stealing more than $500,000 through ATM jackpotting in Connecticut. The four men are charged with interstate transportation of stolen property and conspiracy, according to a report by CBS News.
The men allegedly targeted around nine ATMs in Connecticut, with the cash coming from eight ATMs. The total amount stolen equaled $529,220. During an incident, Luis Freites Arvilla, 38, allegedly acted as a lookout for Alberto Freites Arvilla, 41, to access the hardware of the ATM. From there, Euclides Moreno Itanare, 28, and Willian Ricardo Flores, 49, would allegedly take turns making illegal withdrawals.
If convicted, the men could see up to 15 years in prison.
