YourCash has signed ATM agreements with convenience stores

YourCash Ltd., a United Kingdom-based independent ATM deployer (IAD), today announced that it has signed agreements to deploy ATMs in more than 100 convenience stores.

The company has installed free-to-use wireless cash-dispensing ATMs for faster processing compared with traditional lobby style ATMs that use dial-up phone lines.

"Providing retailers with an ATM that is able to carry out cash transactions in 18 seconds versus a traditional dial-up ATM processing at around 40 to 50 seconds provides a big step forward in the advances made to our industry for supporting UK retailers," said Lee Middleton, marketing director for YourCash. The IAD's merchant clients fill the ATMs with their own cash.

To bolster its ATMs with convenience store operators, YourCash recently displayed its ATMs at the National Convenience Show in the UK.

"The National Convenience Show has allowed us to showcase our proposition to convenience store retailers, multiples and symbol groups so they see firsthand the difference in our high-speed ATMs," Middleton said. "We feel it puts us in a strong market position."

Maynard Keynes, England-based YourCash deploys more than 1,700 free-to-use ATMs, which represented around 32 percent of the UK market as December 2010, company officials said.
