Digital money transfer service WorldRemit has launched in Nevada, the 48th state in the U.S. in which the company now operates.
Customers in Nevada can send funds to recipients in more than 140 destinations around the world as easily as sending an instant message using the WorldRemit mobile app or website, according to a press release.
WorldRemit said in the release that Nevada adds to WorldRemit's reach in Mexican and wider Latin American populations.
"Nevada is a richly diverse state and reflective of the inclusivity that WorldRemit strives for," Erick Schneider, WorldRemit head for Latin America, said in the release. "As remittances from the U.S. to Latin American countries continue to rise, we are proud to equip the large Hispanic community and migrants from around the world in Nevada with the safest and most efficient way to send vital funds to their loved ones."
