TORONTO -- Green Bay, Wis.-based ISO Cash Depot has purchased the license to TNS Smart Network's Smart Processing Suite, software that will allow Cash Depot to switch their own ATM transactions.
"We want to vertically integrate all of our ATM functions... we purchased the switch because we wanted to control our own destiny," said Dave Charles, president of Cash Depot. "We wanted to eliminate the middleman, and we wanted efficiency."
According to a news release, the Smart Processing Suite currently drives almost 3,000 ATMs across Canada, and has processed more than 45 million transactions, representing more than $4.5 billion, at off-premise ATMs owned by TNS's business partners.
