Wisconsin bank signs with Star Network

DENVER - First Data Corp. signed an agreement to provide Star Network access to Brookfield, Wis.-based North Shore Bank at more than 40 locations throughout Wisconsin. According to a news release, North Shore's customers also receive access to surcharge-free ATMs in the United States that are part of Star's surcharge-free program.

North Shore, which recently acquired Illinois State Bank, has extended Star Network and STARsf (the surcharge-free program) to all of Illinois State Bank's former customers.

"We see value in being able to offer our North Shore Bank and Illinois State Bank customers the use of more than 1,800 surcharge-free ATMs, and we're happy to present our card-based customers with this extended service, giving them more flexibility and convenience," Jude Lengell, North Shore's vice president of operations, said.
