Wincor Nixdorf AG subsidiary prosystemsIT has been awarded a contract by Sparkasse Düren bank to assume responsibility for operating its 150 self-service systems at 36 branches. Effective immediately, prosystemsIT will monitor and administer the systems as part of an end-to-end service for a period of five years, providing Sparkasse Düren with lower costs and a significant reduction in its workload and enabling it to focus fully on its operational business and thus differentiate itself in the market, according to a company release.
All the self-service systems are connected remotely to the ProView server at prosystemsIT. There, the staff ensures real-time monitoring around the clock with immediate handling of reported problems and remote maintenance. With its monitoring system, prosystemsIT remains within the secure savings bank network and complies with all the requirements and regulations of German savings banks.
Reporting functions based on Business Objects tools are available for precise analyses, for example of retained cards, system failures or the cash level of cassettes. The analyses are automatically submitted to the bank.
"Self-service is an important channel for providing our customers with cash. So it's important to us to ensure that the 150 self-service systems we have are available around the clock at our 36 branches," said Sparkasse Düren's Jörg Esser. "We chose Wincor Nixdorf's subsidiary prosystemsIT for this because we believe the company offers us the best availability and service for our customers."
