Wincor Nixdorf has announced the shipment of its 100,000th ProCash 280. The milestone-setting machine went to one of Thailand's largest banks, the company said in a press release.
"We are proud to have reached this milestone in less than six years," said Thomas Jaeger, vice president of ProCash business unit systems at Wincor. "The ProCash 280 has also become the most rapidly growing ATM model in key markets such as Africa and the Middle East."
Jaeger credited the performance and reliability of the ProCash line for its worldwide acceptance.
Wincor shipped its first ProCash 280 system in 2010 and has since expanded its footprint for the model to 125 customers in 65 countries across five continents.
