AUSTIN, Texas - Wincor Nixdorf will exhibit its latest line of ProCash ATMs, the xe-series (Extended Edition), at the BAI Retail Delivery Conference and Expo in New Orleans Nov. 19-20.
According to a news release, the xe-series has been enhanced with technical improvements, while continuing the traditional Wincor Nixdorf ATM exterior appearance.
The heart of the xe-series is an improved cash dispenser that gives financial institutions better levels of availability with fewer belts and moving parts. The new note handling design means increased processing speed and the ability to process up to 60 banknotes per transaction.
An additional new feature is the intelligent deposit concept that includes Wincor Nixdorf's exclusive Check and Cash Deposit Module (CCDM). This device allows up to 50 checks and 50 bills to be deposited in a single slot, all within the standard ATM footprint.
Full-function ProCash xe ATMs can be ordered with the CCDM or upgraded at a later date depending on the needs of the financial institution, according to the release.
The xe-series is equipped with a new generation of card readers, certified to EMV 2000 and incorporating the latest security technology. The xe-series will continue to provide customers with the same ergonomic user interface.
All ProCash xe models now have standard 12.1-inch LCD displays. Screen options include both the 12.1-inch and 15-inch LCD display touchscreens and sunlight viewable versions in both sizes.
The new xe-series includes free-standing and through-the-wall cash dispensers and a line-up of full-function machines, including the ProCash 2100 for free-standing, built-in or through-the-wall interior deployments; the ProCash 2150 for indoor or outdoor through-the-wall installations; the ProCash 2250 drive-up ATM; the ProCash 2350, a free-standing frontload system for 42-inch drive-up islands; and the free-standing CompactBANK system that provides branch-banking services.
