Wincor Nixdorf AG today announced that it signed an agreement to manage a German savings bank's ATMs and other self-service systems.
The 10-year agreement is between Wincor Nixdorf and Kreissparkasse Peine, which is based in Peine, Germany. The bank awarded Wincor Nixdorf a contract to manage the financial institution's 118 self-service devices at its 23 branches. The self-service devices include ATMs and transaction terminals, such as kiosks for statement printing, said a Wincor Nixdorf spokesperson.
All of the self-service systems are leased to the bank, and they have a remote link to Wincor Nixdorf's System Management Center, where real-time monitoring, immediate problem reporting and remote maintenance takes place around the clock, said Wincor Nixdorf officials.
The ATM manufacturer's help desk assists bank branch staff in fixing problems they can solve themselves. In addition, Wincor Nixdorf provides monthly quality reporting on the agreed service levels.
