According to a news release issued by Wincor Nixdorf, the bank plans to install 300 multifunctional ProCash 2100xe systems and 700 ProCash 1500xe cash dispensers. We are delighted that Wincor Nixdorf will provide state-of-the-art ATM systems to help SBI provide its customers with reliable and convenient cash services across the country.
AGS Infotech will supply, install, commission and maintain the ATMs at the sites across the country.

SBI is expected to add 1,000 branches and 10,000 ATMs during the 2009/2010 fiscal year. Most of those ATMs and branches are planned for urban areas, where self-service demand is growing, and rural areas where banking services historically have  been limited.
