Wincor Nixdorf Portavis operates new sales portal at Hamburger Sparkasse

FRANKFURT, Germany — Hamburger Sparkasse has signed with Wincor Nixdorf Portavis for a new sales portal that will be used by the bank's 5,000 employees. Wincor Nixdorf Portavis is a joint venture of Wincor Nixdorf AG, Hamburger Sparkasse and Sparkasse Bremen.
According to a news release, the bank's applications will be available via a single interface on the new portal, which will increase the transparency of existing sales information. The convergence of information on a single platform will mean a considerable increase in productivity and the quality of sales processes at Hamburger Sparkasse, Wincor Nixdorf Portavis says.
Integration testing of the solution was successfully completed in September. Once up and running, third-party applications can also be integrated with the portal. Wincor Nixdorf Portavis claims to be the first provider in Germany to operate this particular kind of server.
The company offers a broad spectrum of IT services for providing and operating IT infrastructures. The services offered by Wincor Nixdorf Portavis aim to help customers increase the efficiency and flexibility of their IT environments.
