Wincor Nixdorf intros upgradeable cash dispenser

In a press release today, Wincor Nixdorf announced that it is enhancing its CINEO product family with added upgrade capabilities.

The change will allow deployers of the CINEO C2080 to turn their multifunctional cash dispenser into a multifunctional cash recycling system. This gives users the option to first install the dispensing system and later, if conditions warrant it, add a four-cassette recycling feature that can reduce the number of replenishment visits to the ATM.

“Our aim is to ensure maximum flexibility with this upgrade option,” said Stephan Okroy, cash systems product manager for Wincor Nixdorf. “Significant savings at locations where the amount of cash paid in and dispensed is roughly equal are possible thanks to cash recycling systems. The cycles at which the systems have to be replenished or emptied are longer, which means the costs of cash management can be slashed by up to 75 percent.”

The CINEO C2080 accommodates up to four intelligent cassettes for cash recycling, one fewer than the CINEO C4080 cash recycler. Cassettes can be exchanged between devices from the CINEO family, allowing integration of the CINEO C2080 into closed cash cycles.
