NEW ORLEANS -- Columbus Data Services has announced that John Willmon has joined the company as vice president of business development.
"John … will help CDS grow its processing and vault cash business as well as help us provide more value-added processing services," Ron Schuldt, president of Columbus Data Services, said in a release.
Willmon is one of the original developers of the TPS 2000 processing system and has consulted for several third-party processors. Along with Schuldt, Willmon was one of the founders of RBSA, a third-party processor established in 1997. RBSA became EFT Logix and most recently was acquired by Concord EFS.
"With Concord relocating the EFT Logix platform to the Core Data facility, I felt a move to Columbus Data would give me a greater opportunity to impact the ISO market than I would have had with Concord," Willmon said.
Columbus Data Services is a third-party processor based in New Orleans. It provides ISOs with processing and vault cash services. CDS provides vault cash for about 2,500 terminals throughout the United States.
