Why you don't jump your kid's BFF at the ATM

June 27, 2013

Hello?! Because she knows who you are.

Case in point: Tammy Perras, 45 is accused of attempting to rob a teenaged girl who was withdrawing cash at a drive-through ATM.

The Deltona, Fla., woman allegedly grabbed the girl by the hair and slammed her head into the steering wheel of her car, threatening to kill her and take her belongings.

"[S]he tries to, like, jump in the car with me," said the victim. "So I turned around and I kicked her off me, and I realized it [was] my friend's mom," said a report by WPBF, an ABC affiliate in Palm Beach, Fla.

The teen said the woman stopped beating her and offered her money (which she was going to get where?) not to contact authorities.

Perras' daughter Kayla witnessed the incident and gave a different account. She said that when she approached her mom and her friend, they were "giggling and laughing" together.

Perras was arrested. Kayla was "unfriended," presumably.
