Wells wraps installation of imaging ATMs for Wachovia machines in Savannah

WTOC-TV, Channel 11 in Savannah, Ga., reported yesterday that the city of Savannah is one of the first on the East Coast to install check- and cash-imaging ATMs at Wells Fargo/Wachovia branches in the city.
The ATMs also dispense stamps and are touted for their ‘green' technology, which reportedly saves more than 225 tons of paper or more than 4,000 trees annually.
Every Wachovia ATM in the city now offers imaged deposits.
