Wells Fargo installs first ATM in north-central N.C.
December 8, 2009
The Winston-Salem (N.C.) Journal reports that Wells Fargo & Co. installed its first ATM in the Piedmont Triad yesterday. By March, Wells says it plans to place its ATMs at 118 Wachovia branches in the 14 counties that comprise the Triad, which comprises the north-central part of North Carolina, and Northwest North Carolina. Leslie Hayes, the president for Wells' Triad West region, said that the ATM signage will remain relatively unchanged except for adding the line "A Wells Fargo company."
The bank also says it still plans to complete deposits conversions and signage changes at Wachovia branches in North Carolina between the end of 2010 or early 2011.
