Wawa holds parade to celebrate one billionth surcharge-free ATM transaction

Wawa Inc. announced this week that its surcharge-free ATM transactions will surpass the one billion mark by the end of the month.

To celebrate, the company held a parade on Wednesday in Philadelphia. According to a press release, the company stocked its ATMs with coupons good for free drinks, which are being dispensed at random.

Wawa has been a partner with PNC Bank since 1985, and implemented its no-surcharge program in 1996.
